Senator Jason Lewis Holds Forum on Energy and Environmental Priorities
Senator Jason Lewis held a public forum on energy and environmental priorities at the Jenks Center in Winchester as a part of his ongoing Community Conversations issue discussion series. The forum was attended by over 60 area residents. Featured speakers included Massachusetts Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs Matthew Beaton, Environmental League of Massachusetts Executive Director Ken Pruitt, and Winchester’s Energy Conservation Coordinator Susan McPhee. On hand to help field questions were State Representative Michael Day and Sustainable Winchester President Carolyn Starrett. A wide range of energy and environmental issues were covered including natural gas pipelines, hydropower, residential solar paneling, and climate change adaptation.
